How to check a TikTok LIVE creator before you invite them to your agency

Invitations are limited, and every one spent on a creator who is already in another agency or flagged for risk is wasted. A short check first saves invites and the team's time.

Start from a good list

Begin with creators who are actually going LIVE. In Scout Tools, filter the scouting pool by league division, country, diamonds or creators new in the last 60 minutes, and use Not scanned to see only creators you have not checked yet.

Check eligibility in batches

Select up to 30 creators and run the eligibility check through your agency's own TikTok LIVE Backstage. Each creator gets a result: Premium invite, Normal invite, Affiliated account, Low playback history, In another agency, Not eligible with a reason, or Not found.

Look at the reasons, not only the verdict

Not eligible comes with the reason Backstage gives, for example over the follower limit, multiple-account risk, unsupported region, not enough LIVE history or already being invited. The reason often tells you whether to check again later or move on.

Check affiliate risk for the creators you want most

For eligible creators, the optional affiliate-risk check opens the invite in your Backstage, reads any warning and cancels, so you know about an “Affiliated account risk” warning before you reach out. No invite is sent.

Shortlist, contact and keep the record

Filter the board by Premium or Eligible, mark the creators you contacted and export the list to Excel or CSV for the team. Results stay saved with the time of the check, so you can see when a result is getting old and check again.

Questions

How often should I re-check a creator?

Results reflect the moment of the check. If a result is old, or the creator's situation may have changed, check again before inviting.

Can I do this without Scout Tools?

Yes, one creator at a time in Backstage. Scout Tools does the same check for up to 30 creators at once and keeps the results.
