Why a TikTok LIVE creator shows as Not eligible: every reason explained

A Not eligible result always comes with a reason from your agency's own Backstage. The reason is the useful part: some change over time, and others mean it is better to move on. Here is how to read each one.

The reasons you can see

Scout Tools shows the reason exactly as Backstage reports it. These are the ones agencies see most often:

  • Over follower limit: Backstage says the creator has more followers than your agency can invite.
  • Multiple-account risk: Backstage sees a risk that the creator uses other linked accounts.
  • Unsupported region: Backstage does not let your agency invite creators from this creator's region.
  • Not enough LIVE history: Backstage says the creator has not been LIVE enough yet.
  • Already being invited: the creator already has an invitation in progress.
  • Inappropriate content and Content violation: Backstage flagged the creator's content.
  • Other: a reason Backstage gave that the checker has no label for.

Reasons that can change

Not enough LIVE history and Already being invited can change as time passes. A creator who keeps streaming may meet the history requirement later, and an invitation in progress may be settled one way or the other. Keep these creators on your list and check them again in a few weeks.

Reasons that usually mean moving on

Over follower limit, Unsupported region and a content reason usually mean your agency cannot invite this creator, and that rarely changes quickly. Spend your invitations on creators you can sign.

Multiple-account risk is different: it is worth asking the creator about any other TikTok accounts before you decide.

What the checker does not tell you

The checker reports Backstage's reason as it is. It does not explain TikTok's rules and it cannot see which accounts are linked. The result reflects your own agency at the moment of the check, so another agency can see a different answer for the same creator.

Questions

Can the same creator be Not eligible for one agency and eligible for another?

Yes. The result comes from each agency's own Backstage, so two agencies can see different answers, and the reason is shown next to the result.

Does a Not eligible result use up an invitation?

No. A check never sends an invite, so your invitations left do not go down.

How long should I wait before checking a creator again?

Results reflect the moment of the check. For reasons such as not enough LIVE history, a few weeks is a sensible time to look again.
