Who is responsible
Devign LLC, registered in Casper, Wyoming, United States, with a team working remotely from Lebanon, is responsible for your information in Scout Tools. Privacy questions and requests: info@devignlb.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, your password (stored only as a secure hash), language and theme settings, and your signed-in devices.
- Billing: your subscription status and the Stripe customer and payment references. Card details are entered on Stripe; Devign never sees or stores full card numbers.
- Billing requests: when you cancel (and, if you choose to give one, the reason) or ask for a refund or use your right of withdrawal, the request, your message and its outcome.
- Your work in Scout Tools: shortlists, contacted marks and other notes you save on the board.
- Backstage connection and eligibility results, described in the next section.
- Activity logs: the pages you open, the actions you take, and your device, browser and IP address.
- Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
Your TikTok LIVE Backstage connection
To use the eligibility checker you connect your agency's own TikTok LIVE Backstage account. Your Backstage password is used only to sign in and is not stored.
After you sign in, a signed-in browser session for that Backstage account is kept on Devign's server, so the checker can run eligibility checks for you. The results of those checks are stored with your Scout Tools account so you can filter and export them later.
When you press Disconnect, the Backstage session is deleted from our server, and your stored eligibility results are deleted too.
Checks only read information. No invite is ever sent: the optional affiliate-risk check opens a creator's invite in your Backstage to read any warning, then cancels it.
Information about creators
The scouting pool shows TikTok LIVE information that is publicly visible, such as a creator's handle, display name, league division, diamond score and country. A creator who wants their information removed can email info@devignlb.com.
How we use information
- to provide Scout Tools: your account, the board, eligibility checks and exports
- to take payments and manage your subscription
- to keep the service secure: enforce the two-device limit, stop account sharing and abuse, and investigate problems
- to answer support requests
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Cookies
Scout Tools uses a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and cookies that remember your language and theme. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. The sign-up page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated sign-ups.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the providers that help us run Scout Tools: Stripe for payments, our hosting providers, and Cloudflare for the sign-up check. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect users and the service.
Scout Tools is not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance. Eligibility checks run in your own Backstage account on TikTok's systems, under TikTok's terms.
How long we keep it
- Activity logs: 90 days, for security and support.
- Backstage session and eligibility results: until you press Disconnect, when both are deleted.
- Account data and your saved work: while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account at info@devignlb.com.
- Billing records and billing requests (cancellations, refunds, withdrawals): for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Security and international processing
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and logging, and payments are taken on Stripe's hosted checkout. No system is completely secure; if you think your account is at risk, contact us straight away.
Devign is registered in the United States, works from Lebanon and uses providers in several countries, so your information may be processed outside your country.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict its use, or receive a copy. Email info@devignlb.com; we verify the request before acting. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Scout Tools is a business tool for agencies and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and we will tell subscribers about material changes.
